Truth be told though you don’t need a magic trick in selecting your ideal dog because there’s actually a tried-and-proven straight forward method to do. And for me that’s the best part about getting a dog because unlike family…you actually get to choose!

So You Are Looking To Get A Puppy

Before I continue I am going to make a number of assumptions here, the main one being that you already know the type of dog breed that you wish to get. This article is about choosing the right puppy so I really won’t delve into depth about the various dog breeds.

However suffice it to say that out of all the hundreds of dog breeds, there most certainly is one that is just right for you. Finding that right puppy though requires an honest assessment and evaluation on your part such as…

…you already have in mind the role your dog will play; a role which will most likely fall under any of the following:

    * Playmate for the kids
    * Companion
    * Protector
    * Show performer
    * Herder
    * Hunter

Furthermore I am going to conclude that since you have already mentally designated a role to your dog then you have already settled on a breed.

This part shouldn’t be hard at all because the various dog breeds were bred and developed to carry out these functions. Some of the dog breeds are more capable than others at performing the various tasks (indeed some dog breeds are able to perform all of them [the so-called muti-taskers of the canine world; e.g., the German Shepherd] ).
Now all you have to do is decide which dog breed covers your needs.

Oh…one other thing, your homework also requires an honest unbiased assessment on how you and your furry friend are going to co-exist. In other words you need to ensure that:

    * Your lifestyle and personality complement your dog’s genetic heritage
    * You can devote enough time to your dog
    * Your living arrangement is suitable for both you and your dog
    * The climatic conditions will not make your dog’s life a misery

Okay now that we have ascertained that you have carefully decided on the type of dog breed you wish to get and also that you have covered other important parameters such as living arrangements, climate etc., let’s tackle the topic at hand.
puppies

How To Choose Your Best Fit Puppy

Just like siblings in a given family tend to have widely different characters so do puppies from the same litter. So in the same litter of puppies it is not uncommon to find a boisterous, rowdy outgoing puppy as well as a timid, shy puppy that is literally scared of its own shadow!

So why is it important to be able to tell which puppy is which? Well consider the following:

    * By 7 weeks of age a puppy has attained its adult dog character!

    * Most abandoned dogs become so because their owners are at their wits end and can’t cope with them any longer; a situation they could have avoided had they chosen the right puppy!

    * Puppies from the same litter have different dispositions; some are sweet and some will become overly dominant menaces!
    * Some puppies are easy to train while others are downright difficult!

    * Some puppies love human companionship while others are outright anti-social!

    * Some puppies will mature into dogs that are way too difficult to handle by the 1st time dog owner!

Those are some very good reasons to be determine the character and nature of your dog while it is still a puppy.

At 7 Weeks Of Age You Can Tell How Your Puppy Will Behave As An Adult Dog!

Did you know that as far as puppies go what you see is what you get by the time the puppy is seven weeks old. In other words if you know what you are doing you can tell precisely how your puppy will behave as a mature dog!

It is important to remember that though your puppy is now an adorable, cute bundle of joy, in the not so distant future he/she will become a lot bigger and a lot less manageable; unless of course he/she is amenable and compliant to your instructions.

Having a great relationship with your dog means having a well trained dog but unfortunately this is not possible with some dogs for the simple fact that they are either too anti-social or are either downright stubborn.

There’s no doubt that the different dog breeds are characterized by specialized behavioral traits, but the truth of the matter is that within each and every litter of puppies from a given dog breed, those puppies are going to exhibit very different personalities.

If You Wish To Have A Great Relationship With Your Dog…

Then you’ll most likely want to choose a puppy that:

    * Matures into a dog that is easily trainable
    * Is sociable and loves being around people
    * Will follow your lead and obey your instructions
    * Won’t become a overly dominant alpha male that is a menace to everybody
    * Becomes a dog with a sweet disposition that is a delight to everyone

Remember earlier on I said that by seven weeks of age your puppy has already developed its adult personality? Well not only has the puppy developed its adult personality by then but it is also exhibiting it!

All you need to be able to do is interpret the signs that puppy is exhibiting at 7 weeks and in effect you can choose the precise dog personality that you desire!

There’s actually a simple and straight-forward procedure to establish the future personality of a dog by testing it when it is a puppy; anybody can perform this simple test.

Irresistible Reasons To Learn How To Make Money Online

Three Hard To Beat Reasons Why You should Start Your Own Internet Business

1. Commencing An Internet Business Nowadays Calls for Marginal-To-Almost No Setup Expenses

There's definitely one encouraging consideration which results from such a competitive field and that is it drives down shopper or end-user prices. Luckily that is specifically what happened online. Not too long ago if you planned to are blessed with an internet business the initial amounts were incredibly steep. Then again that was then and now, well is today! Currently if you wish to setup your own internet business the fees are actually negligible and are made up of the subsequent:

• Getting A Domain Name: You will need to register a domain name to claim your own URL or website. Domain name registration is undertaken on a every year schedule but you can register your domain name for more than a year (which is actually better) and your total price will be less. However be aware that the domain name just belongs to you just so long as you keep on renewing your registration costs and anytime you fail to accomplish that your domain name will be auctioned off! And so with that in mind it is in your interest to register your domain name with a proficient domain name registrar.

• Web Hosting Service: Web hosting expenses used to be a considerable money drain! I remember when I primarily started internet business marketing my web rates came to a distressing 25/month for hosting on a shared server with next to no support or features at all! Happily, once again, thanks to levels of competition and the proliferation of excellent quality web hosting services all over the internet web hosting costs have spectacularly plummeted. These days you can pick up quality web hosting with pretty much all the bells-and-whistles for less than 4 dollars. And I am speaking about hosting from long time, reputable web hosting services that are guaranteed to be available until the decline of the internet.

2. Once Setup And Established Your Internet Business Will Run On Autopilot

Maybe one of the most advantageous benefits of steering your own internet business is that once it is installed and properly established it will pretty much smoothly roll on its own, making it possible for you to make money online on a daily basis like your very own personal online ATM or cash cow. Look the bottom line is that it doesn't matter if you don't know how to make money online today because this is not rocket science that we are talking about here!

3. You Don't Need To have Your Own Product To Conduct A Successful Internet Business

In all probability the main hurdle that tends to frighten off the average individual from getting started on an internet business is the dilemma of them not having a product or service to sell. In spite of this therein lies the power of online marketing, your internet business can be nothing more exotic than promoting other people's products or services. This sort of internet marketing is referred to as affiliate marketing and is the method that many are adopting to make their financial aspirations come a reality.

Redbone Coonhound Dog Breed

Like many dog breeds the Redbone Coonhound owes its development to simple necessity. That necessity came in the form of a yearning to hunt by wealthy planters of 18 century America. However that burning desire to emulate the hunting habits of the European gentry was temporarily stumped by of all things, the environment. You see the landscape of deep southern America was radically different to that found in Europe and hence found the typical European hunting dog lacking!

The hunting pastures that proved to be too much of a challenge for Europe’s finest hunting hounds bristled not only with unfriendly terrain that included marshes and swamps, but also with vicious quarry such as alligators, cougars, bears, porcupines and raccoon that were not averse to fighting back. Another aspect that stumped the European hounds was quarry that took to the trees; many hunting dog breeds from Europe were used to routing their prey from subterranean refuge or simply running them to ground.

Hence it was obvious to the new would-be gentry of North America that the only solution was to breed their own hunting dog with ingredients of their choosing.

Development of the Redbone Coonhound

The Redbone Coonhound was derived from the Red Foxhound which was brought to the shores of America by Scottish immigrants in the 18th century. The Foxhound became the foundation stock for the Redbone Coonhound and later on the Irish Foxhound and Bloodhound lines were added to the mix.

In its early days the Redbone Coonhound was never solid red there having been little to no attempt to breed for color uniformity. However by the 1920s a vigorous and earnest effort to breed for a solid red dog paid off and the earlier variably colored version of the Redbone Coonhound (known as the Saddleback because of its distinct black saddle like markings on its back) disappeared.

One breeder has been best associated with the development of the Redbone Coonhound and that breeder was none other than Peter Redbone. To this day it is not properly established whether the Redbone Coonhound was named after Peter Redbone or whether it got its name simply because of the fact it is…er…red. Personally I follow the school of thought that the dog breed was named after Peter Redbone because otherwise how do you explain the “bone” in the dog breed’s name?

Two other notable names come to mind with respect to origination of the Redbone Coonhound dog breed and those names are: 1) Dr. Thomas Henry of the 19th century; and 2) Georgia F.L. Birding of Georgia.

The Redbone Coonhound has been called by a variety of other names which include: Redbone; Redbone Hound; and Red-coon dog. Early on in the 20th century, 1902 to be more precise, the Redbone Coonhound became the 2nd coonhound dog breed to be recognized the UKC. The American Kennel Club (AKC) was somewhat more snail-paced in bestowing its formal recognition, only doing so almost 100 years later in 2001.

Redbone Coonhound Features and Character

The Redbone Coonhound is an easygoing, mild mannered dog that presents with what many have observed as a pleading expression dramatized by soulful poignant eyes. Redbones love being around people but unlike some other dog breeds (notably the Weimeraner) it is not clingy by nature.

The Redbone typically has a lean, muscular and well-proportioned body. The long straight front legs abut either side of a wide barrel chest. The head and tail of the Redbone Coonhound are held high when the dog is hunting or on parade in the show ring. This dog breed sports a short smooth coat that is coarse and tough enough to provide adequate protection to its skin whilst it is hunting in dense brush.

The Redbone has large floppy ears and a nose that is always black. In accordance with the breed standard, the coat must always be a solid red though a small smattering of white is permissible on the chest, between the legs and on its feet; note though such sprinkling of white is allowed it is not desired. The toes of the Redbone Coonhound are webbed a characteristic that enhances its ability to chase water bound prey. Much like the Labrador Retriever the Redbone is not averse to antics and frolicking in the water.
More info about the dog

Is There Ever A Best Time To Start An Internet Business?

Absolutely Desperate I Was Driven To Make Money Online!

That nightmare where I couldn't pay the rent or my bills or had absolutely no idea where my next paycheck was coming from almost seems unreal these days.

Truth be told nowadays I do whatever I want. Most days I wake up very late in the morning (or early afternoon depending on my mood) and if I feel like it I drag myself into the office for an hour or so of extremely effortless work.

As if my life couldn't get any sweeter I have to tell you that my office is about 100 feet from my bedroom in my house. it's my study!

My apologies! As usual I have started this narrative at the end of the story not at the beginning so permit me to correct that error by going back to the beginning. So let's go back to the beginning (well actually somewhere in the middle) so you can see how I ended up where I am today.

This is how it all started...well kinda. A couple of weeks ago my buddy James and I were chatting at some cocktail shindig and soon enough we were knee deep discussing the terrible state of the economy. Both of us knew people who had been devastated by the downturn of the economy and not matter what the national polls and popular news accounts said about a rebound we both agreed that this may have been so for those fatcats on Wall Street who caused this mess in the first place, but certainly not for the average hardworking individual.

Things at his place were manageable but he couldn't say that they were great. Christine his wife had lost her job and he couldn't say for certain that his own job was secure. Just last week his close buddy had been let go. Besides they had two kids in college and a single paycheck just couldn't cover it! The harsh reality was that job security for most people was a thing that no longer existed.

For a while we were both lost in our own thoughts and then he asked how was it that I seemed to be doing so well when everybody else's world was collapsing? Somewhat guiltily I told him that things had never been better for me. Truth be told I confessed, business had never been better! Talk about a look of utter disbelief. Well cutting a long story short I started narrating how some time back things were so bad for me that I was forced to make money online or sink.

Existing A Life of No Existence!

Three years back I worked two back-breaking and mind-numbing jobs to make sure my family weren't on the streets. You'd think that being bone tired every waking hour would mean that getting to sleep would be the easiest thing in the world. Perhaps so, but not in my world. I had to numb myself with sleeping pills just to doze for a few hours. Crazy huh! It doesn't take a genius to figure out that staying alert and awake after so little sleep mixed with sleeping pills was no walk in the park. I did it by literally submerging myself in the yukkiest, strongest coffee to be had this side of hell.

Even then I worried that such a lifestyle was leading me to an early grave. But you know what? I had bigger worries, namely that there was food on the table and a roof over my family.

Oh! Yet in spite of my best efforts and intentions life seemed to go from bad to worse. My wife and I could no longer see eye to eye because our whole lives then revolved around money; or its lack thereof. It seemed like the only thing that my wife and I did back then was constantly bicker about money!

Highway To The Grave!

I lived in that fashion for far longer than I care to remember and possibly might still be doing so today had it not been for the fact that one day I was diagnosed as having hypertension.

I was in utter disbelief when the doc told me that I was suffering from sever hypertension. The doctor was calm, professional and reassuring but I was having none of it! How could I possibly be hypertensive?

Other than the sleep deprivation I had never felt better... I never smoked...drank only a little and never had a history of hypertension in my family. Besides I had barely turned thirty! I drank rarely and there was no history of the disease in my family. It was impossible! How could I have hypertension? I was barely 30 years old!

Eventually it was determined that stress was the cause of my hypertension.

Those nights I lay awake wondering where, when and if I was going to make a money that week, it definitely took a heavy toll. Fact was if I continued the way I was going there was a strong chance I would be dead before the year was through!

That was when I decided to turn to the web to make money online!

From The Bottom Of The Pit To Internet Money Success

Remember when the economic meltdown happened we were told that several hundred billions in bailout money would rejuvenate and revive everything. Well that was way back in 2008 and the only thing that has really happened is that it is business as usual for Wall Street while the rest of us on Main Street rot!

Do I sound bitter? You bet I do! Having recently watched the excellent documentary "Inside Job" more than ever now I realize how we were duped by bankers, big business and the Government.

It was the con of the century! From what little we know now the big boys were all on the take. Rating Agencies were being paid big bucks by the very companies they were supposed to rate, the incentive being that the better the rating you give us the more money we will throw your way! In the Housing and mortgage debacle things were just as bad.

Mortgages of several million dollars were being awarded to indviduals with absolutely no equity or hope of repaying their loans. Some such ridiculous mortagage loans include the Walmart floor sweeper who cleared for a mortgage loan worth $5,000,000!

The reason why all this insanity could take place was because of the very shady little understood thing called derivatives (something that even bank industry insiders themselves don't understand).

Okay so what has all this to do with you...and the reason you are reading this article? Well it's because when the economy dived deep south I lost my job and practically everything else. This is my story about how I crawled from that very deep and dark place to run a successful internet business and make money online!

It has been a while now since I have had to worry about such things as paying the rent, paying bills and if, where and when my next pay check is going to come from.

In fact these days I pretty much do as I please! I really love my mornings! How many people can honestly say that. and here's why I love them. I don't have to get in the morning; in fact I don't. I crawl outta bed in the early afternoon!

Here's another great thing about my life today; my office is next door to my bedroom. It's my study!

However let me start this story properly and not back to front. So let's go back to the beginning (well actually somewhere in the middle) so you can see how I ended up where I am today.
This is how it all started...well kinda.

A couple of weeks ago my buddy Jonathan and I were chatting at some cocktail shindig and soon enough we were knee deep discussing the terrible state of the economy. Having both agreed that a recession was firmly rooted in place, we then swapped stories about people we knew who had been personally and deeply affected by the downturn in the economy.

Jonathan remarked that so far he had survived the worst of it and was pretty sure that his job was secure for now, but he couldn't help wondering how long that would last if things got any worse. Decent folk were being fired all over the nation simply because the economy had tanked.

After a moment of silence Jonathan noted that I didn't seem particularly upset or affected by the recession and I quietly conceded that I wasn't. Truth be told I confessed, business had never been better! You should have seen the look on his face. Anyway I then proceeded to tell him how I started to make internet money a few years back.

Living A Handout Existence!

A few years ago I worked 15 hours every single day just to make ends meet. So it's little wonder that I was constantly sleep deprived. But do you know what the funny thing was? I still couldn't get to sleep when I lay down. Crazy huh! As if things weren't already bad enough, I then had to counter those sleeping pills and lack of sleep with mug after mug of coffee that would make even a cowboy cringe.

Was I worried that I was destroying my health? Heck yeah! But I was more worried about not being able to provide for my family.

Oh! And don't even get me started on how the situation was corroding my marriage. It seemed like the only thing that my wife and I did back then was constantly bicker about money!

Hightailing It To An Early Grave!

It's strange to think baout it now, how a serious medical condition ended up saving my life. I shuddder to think that if I hadn't been diagnosed with severe hypertension I would still be leading that futile ratrace that my life had become.

I was in utter disbelief when the doc told me that I was suffering from sever hypertension. To say that I was shocked is the understatement of the century! I was in complete utter disbelief.
I was in excellent shape... I drank only occasionally...was never a smoker and because of my jobs did more than plenty enough exercise. Topping that I was just 30 years old! I drank rarely and there was no history of the disease in my family. It was impossible! How could I have hypertension? I was barely 30 years old!

For along time I was angry at the doctor who had diagnosed me. That's right after a battery of tests I now accepetd that I had hypertension but I still felt cheated. I didn't lead the polluted lifestyle like binge drinking and smoking that commonly ended in hypertension.

I simply couldn't continue the way I had been living...that is if I wished to continue living. I had to ger rid of the stress and the only way I could do that was to make more money without digging my own grave at the same time.

And that's when I realized I couldn't continue living the way I was. In fact it was at that point it dawned on me that what I had been doing had very little to do with living! So it was there and then that I decided I was going to start my very own online business to make money enough with which to lead the lifestyle I had always dreamed!

Need A Good Reason To Make Money From Home

So if you're being totally honest with yourself why is it that you haven't set up shop online and started your own internet business?
I mean cummon...surely you know that once set up the whole shebang runs on autopilot! Okay I get it you are scared you will be scammed right? No...hmmmm, lemme see then. Okay I got it...you're scared that you will fail right?

Look there's no harm in failure, in fact most of todays greatest success stories blossomed through failure. And besides there is a saying that goes: it is better to have tried and failed than to never have tried at all!

Anyway this narrative is about my very own story how I got started with my online web marketing business and trust I have nver looked back or had regrets!

These days it really seems unbelievable that there was time I couldn't pay my rent, was drowning from unpaid bills and to top it all had no idea where the next payday would come from.

Truth be told nowadays I do whatever I want. No longer do I have to get up early in the morning to go slave out a job that I hate. Look I get up really late in the morning or anytime that I wish.

Oh did I mention that my office is just down the hall because it is it's my study!

However let me start this story properly and not back to front. So let's go back to the beginning (well actually somewhere in the middle) so you can see how I ended up where I am today.

This is how it all started; well kinda. A couple of weeks ago my buddy James and I were chatting at some cocktail shindig and soon enough we were knee deep discussing the terrible state of the economy. We were in totally agreement that a recession was rooted firmly in place never mind the fact that the government and the media were saying otherwise.

James told me about his brother-in-law who had lost his job and now his house was in foreclosure. Things for him he said were not that bad be nobody was certain about tomorrow anymore especially when people were losing jobs left, right and center. Plain truth of the matter was that people were losing their jobs everyday!

We fell into a momnet of silence lost in our own thoughts when james hesitantly asked me how was it that my family and I appeared not to have been affected by the deep-six of the economy. I confided to him the reason was because the tanking of the economy hadn't affected me at all.

Truth be told I confessed, business had never been better! If there was ever an expression that best captured sheer astonishment, it was the look on his face. That's when I told him that some years ago I was so desperate I was left with no option but to make money online.

A Short Breath Away From Living On The Street!

In the not too distant past I used to work three jobs to make sure my family had a roof over their heads. You'd think that being bone tired every waking hour would mean that getting to sleep would be the easiest thing in the world. Perhaps so, but not in my world. I had to numb myself with sleeping pills just to doze for a few hours. Crazy huh! Making matters worse, I then had to literally drown myself in coffee to attain a minimal state of wakefulness, enough so as to be able to do my job.

Even then I worried that such a lifetsyle was leading me to an early grave.

On The Fast Track To An Early Grave!

No doubt about it...my lifestyle was unhealthy. It is well-known that lack of sleep leads to many health problems and that's precisely what happened to me. Oh, let's not forget the bucket loads of coffee that I was quashing everyday too!

If anybody had told me that I had hypertension I would have laughed at them. In fact that's what I did when the doctor told me; until I realized that he wasn't joking! You must be mistaken I said to the doctor.

I was in good shape... I never smoked...drank only a little and never had a history of hypertension in my family. Besides I had barely turned thrity! I drank rarely and there was no history of the disease in my family. It was impossible! How could I have hypertension? I was barely 30 years old!

In the end the simple truth was that the stress of my existence led to my hypertension.
Those nights I lay awake wondering where, when and if I was going to make a money that week, it definitely took a heavy toll. Fact was if I continued the way I was going there was a strong chance I would be dead before the year was through!

And that's when I realized I couldn't continue living the way I was. In fact it was at that point it dawned on me that what I had been doing was subsisiting let alone living!

Which brings me to a question I have been dying to ask you because the fact that you are reading this lends me to believe your situation is not unlike mine once was. Anyway this is the question:

Do You Know What You Would Do If You Had Financial Freedom?

Foolish of me to ask--of course you do!

I bet you would do what anybody else in the world would do! You would:

Live The Life That You Always Wanted!

Do you know the difference between people who really enjoy life and those who are simply passing through?

The people who truly enjoy life are the ones who are doing exactly what they want to be doing. Such people are easy to spot--they always look happy!

As for the others, the one's who simply pass through life as if it was a series of duties like paying bills and taxes--life to them is just an existence that has little room or time for happiness! They are simply too busy trying to make ends meet they have no time to really appreciate life.

And after you've existed that way for some time any other kind of lifestyle becomes unimaginable! I should know; after all that was me not too long ago!

I Was Left No Other Option But To Make Money Online!

I realized I had to make drastic changes to my life fast otherwise sooner than later I wouldn't even have one. My health was on the blink and my marriage wasn't doing any better either! I needed money and I needed it yesterday!

But what was I going to do? I couldn't go back to school because I evidently couldn't afford it otherwise I wouldn't be in the crummy situation that I found myself in.

I couldn't take another job because there simply wasn't enough time in a single day and besides my body couldn't handle it either. No! There had to be another way; some way that had minimal startup costs yet enabled me to make more money in a relatively short period of time.

So I turned to the internet did some research and learned how to make money online. The rest, as the saying goes, is history!

Turn The Internet Into Your Own ATM Cashcow

The internet is a useful tool isn't it...I mean just think of all the things one can do. You can shop for really really cheap stuff, you can find a ton of info (in other words you can research all you want without ever having to leave the comfort of your home) no wonder libraries are going out of existence.
I'm sure there are a gadzillion other uses for the internet such as watching your favorite shows and hooking up with your pals on social media websites but my question is have you ever considered the internet as a tool to make money?

No? Well don't worry that used to be me too not so long ago but today my primary usefor the internet is to make money. The following account is how my internet money adventures started:
Today it seems like eternity since I have had to fret over how I will pay my bills, handle rent and even if I will have a pay check end of the week.

Who would have ever belived it but today I do everything that I desire.

Anyway not so long ago I was having a barbecue at my place with my friends and neighbors when inevitably the conversation honed in on the dire situation of the economy of today. We were in totally agreement that a recession was rooted firmly in place never mind the fact that the government and the media were saying otherwise.

Things at his place were manageable but he couldn't say that they were great. Christine his wife had lost her job and he couldn't say for certain that his own job was secure. Just last week his close buddy had been let go. Besides they had two kids in college and a single paycheck just couldn't cover it! People were losing their jobs left, right and center from every sector of the economy!

After being lost in our private thoughts for a minute or two he joked that I must be a secret Wall Street trader because my world seemed as peachy as it had ever been since we became neighbours. The reason for that, I answered, was that inspite of the collapse of the economy my life had never been better. Truth be told I confessed, business had never been better! The expression on his face was one of utter disbelief so I knew I had to elaborate; That's when I told him that some years ago I was so desperate I was left with no option but to make money online.

Existing A Life of No Existence!

In the not too distant past I used to work three jobs to make sure my family had a roof over their heads. The weirdest thing was that despite the fact I was always tired, I still had to pop sleeping pills on a daily basis just to get to sleep. Crazy huh! Making matters worse, I then had to literally drown myself in coffee to attain a minimal state of wakefulness, enough so as to be able to do my job.

Was I worried that I was destroying my health? Heck yeah! But I was more worried about not being able to provide for my family.

Oh! Lack of sleep and lack of money has never been the recipe for a happy marriage; or family for that matter. The wife, well she couldn't stop complaining about money, then the kids started acting out. It seemed like the only thing that my wife and I did back then was constantly bicker about money!

On The Fast Track To An Early Grave!

It's strange to think baout it now, how a serious medical condition ended up saving my life. I shuddder to think that if I hadn't been diagnosed with severe hypertension I would still be leading that futile ratrace that my life had become.

At first I thought the doctor was joking when he said that I had serious hypertension. But then it began to dawn on me that this was no joke, that's when the shock belly-punched me! To say that I was shocked is the understatement of the century! I was in complete utter disbelief.
Other than the sleep deprivation I had never felt better... I never smoked...drank only a little and never had a history of hypertension in my family. Besides I had barely turned thrity! I drank rarely and there was no history of the disease in my family. It was impossible! How could I have hypertension? I was barely 30 years old!

The way I was living, or rather I should say that the way I was existing was determined to be the cause of my hypertension.

But even as I mentally conceded that I drastically needed to swap out my life I couldn't help worrying about the future. How was I going to make money if I couldn't continue thet way i had been before? Yup! This was certainly a vicious cycle if ever there was one.

And that's when I realized I couldn't continue living the way I was. In fact it was at that point it dawned on me that what I had been doing was--Existing Not Living!

Which brings me to a question I have been dying to ask you because the fact that you are reading this lends me to believe your situation is not unlike mine once was. Anyway this is the question:

Do You Know What You Would Do If You Had Financial Freedom?

Silly of me to ask--of course you do!

So I turned to the internet did what I had to do and duly began to get my slice of the internet money pie!

Internet Money Adventures Began With A Flurry Of Bad Luck!

Life's a funny thing isn't it? One day you're cruising along merrily on your way singing badly out aloud as you chew up the miles on the highway of life then next thing...BAM! You are broadsided by an impact you never saw coming. And that's what really happened to me not too long ago. One day it seemed everything was perfect and I was living The Dream just to open my eyes to find out it had turned into the worst nightmare!

An Unforeseen String Of Bad Luck Led To My Internet Money Adventures

Today it seems like eternity since I have had to fret over how I will pay my bills, handle rent and even if I will have a pay check end of the week.

The truth of the matter is that currently I can do and actually do anything that I wish these days. No longer do I have to get up early in the morning to go slave out a job that I hate. Look I get up really late in the morning or anytime that I wish.

As if my life couldn't get any sweeter I have to tell you that my office is about 100 feet from my bedroom in my house. it's my study!

But I'm getting ahead of myself, because I'm beginning this story back to front. So let's go back to the beginning (well actually somewhere in the middle) so you can see how I ended up where I am today.

Anyway not so long ago I was having a barbecue at my place with my friends and neighbors when inevitably the conversation honed in on the dire situation of the economy of today. How ironic, we noted, that despite all the suffering and hardship we saw everywhere the media and the government had the balls to tell us the the worst of the recession was over.

For a moment we were both silent then Tom wondered aloud that I did not seem particularly worried. I told him that I wasn't. Truth be told I confessed, business had never been better! In fact I was making more money now than I had ever made in my life.

You should have seen the look on his face. So I recounted how not too long ago my situation was so terrible circumstances forced me to make money online or become homeless.

Living The Paycheck To Paycheck Nonexistence!

Ever worked 16-hour days? Well that used to be me, seven days a week and even then I could barely cover the essentials. You'd think that being bone tired every waking hour would mean that getting to sleep would be the easiest thing in the world. Perhaps so, but not in my world.

I had to numb myself with sleeping pills just to doze for a few hours. Crazy huh! You'd think that things couldn't get any worse but the truth is I had to binge on coffee just to ensure that I attained that barest level of alertness required to do my jobs.

Even then I worried that such a life style was leading me to an early grave. But you know what? I had bigger worries, namely that there was food on the table and a roof over my family.

Oh! With everything being so tough you'd think that I'd get some kinda of break. But no such luck! Things at home were bad and it looked like my marriage was unraveling right before my eyes. It seemed like the only thing that my wife and I did back then was constantly bicker about money!

Gunning To Early Retirement In A Cement Suit!

I lived in that fashion for far longer than I care to remember and possibly might still be doing so today had it not been for the fact that one day I was diagnosed as having hypertension.

If anybody had told me that I had hypertension I would have laughed at them. In fact that's what I did when the doctor told me; until I realized that he wasn't joking! I told the doctor there had to be some mistake!

I was in good shape... Perhaps if I smoked, drank heavily, was overweight or had a family history of hypertension then and only then would I reluctantly concede that I was suffering from hypertension. But I suffered from none of those hallmarks! I drank rarely and there was no history of the disease in my family. It was impossible! How could I have hypertension? I was barely 30 years old!

For along time I was angry at the doctor who had diagnosed me. That's right after a battery of tests I now accepted that I had hypertension but

I still felt cheated. I didn't lead the polluted lifestyle like binge drinking and smoking that commonly ended in hypertension.

Hindsight makes it crystal clear today how all that constant worrying about money and trying to make it led me to that point in the doctor's office. It then dawned on me that I couldn't continue living like this!

And that's when I realized I couldn't continue living the way I was. In fact it was at that point it dawned on me that what I had been doing couldn't be called living by any stretch of the imagination!

Which brings me to a question I have been dying to ask you because the fact that you are reading this lends me to believe your situation is not unlike mine once was. Anyway this is the question:

Do You Know What You Would Do If You Had Financial Freedom?

Silly of me to ask--of course you do!

Backed Up Against A Hard Spot My Only Option Was To Make Money Online!

I realized I had to make drastic changes to my life fast otherwise sooner than later I wouldn't even have one. My health was on the blink and my marriage wasn't doing any better either! I needed to make money somehow and I needed it yesterday!

With the economy still in such bad health and with no obvious signs of improvement in the near future it is little wonder that more and more people are losing their positions in an ever shrinking job market.

But there actually is one ray of hope in this dark horizon of dismay and that is that nowadays anybody can start up an internet business for virtually pittance. So why even bother starting your own business?

Well unless you are independently wealthy and have no need for a supplemental income or a full time income at that, here then are a number of excellent reasons to start gunning for internet money:

A Number Of Great Reasons To Start Getting Your Share Of Internet Money

1. Setting up An Internet Business Obligates Small To Virtually No Setup Costs
There's certainly one useful consideration which results from all this competition and that is it pushes down consumer or end-user prices. Happily that is precisely what occurred online. Not too long ago if you planned to are blessed with an internet business the setup price tags were pretty high. Then again that was then and today, well is today!

At this point in time if you want to conduct your own personal internet business the figures are entirely negligible and are of the subsequent:
Getting hold of A Domain Name: You will need to obtain a domain name to claim your own URL or website.
Domain name registration is done on a annually basis however you can register your domain name for more than a year (which is actually better) and your overall expenses will be less. Take careful note that the domain name typically belongs to you as long as you keep renewing your registration fees and anytime you fail to complete that your domain name will be auctioned
off!
Hence with that in mind it is in your interest to register your domain name with a experienced domain name registrar.
Web Hosting Management: Web hosting service fees used to be a considerable money drain! I can recall at the time I first started internet business marketing my web fees came to a terrifying 25/month for hosting on a shared server with next to no support or features whatever!

Fortunately, once again, thanks to competitors and the proliferation of top notch web hosting services all over the internet web hosting costs have essentially nose-dived. These days you can pick up excellent quality web hosting with pretty much all the attributes for less than 4 dollars. And I am talking about hosting from well-established, reputable web hosting companies that are guaranteed to be available until the death of the internet.
2. When Setup And Established Your Internet Business Will Run On Autopilot
Conceivably one of the foremost benefits of having your own internet business is that once it is assembled and properly established it will pretty much work on its own, empowering you to make money online on a daily cycle like your very own personal online ATM or cash cow.

3. You Don't Need To have Your Own Product To Run A Successful Internet Business
Generally the principal hurdle that tends to frighten off the average individual from starting an internet business is the obstacle of them not having a product or service to sell. Though therein lies the miracle of online marketing, your internet business can be nothing more than promoting other people's products or services.

This sort of internet marketing is referred to as affiliate marketing and is the system that many are utilizing to make their financial goals come to pass. Look competition on the internet is not getting any smaller; by gunning for your own slice of internet money you will see your efforts rewarded sooner!

I was So Broke I Was Left No Choice But To Make Money Online

That nightmare where I couldn't pay the rent or my bills or had absolutely no idea where my next paycheck was coming from almost seems unreal these days.

In fact these days I pretty much do as I please! That's right, my mornings these days are spent lazing in bed.

Yes life couldn't be any better especially when my office is a couple of rooms down the hall. it's my study!

My apologies! So let's go back to the beginning (well actually somewhere in the middle) so you can see how I ended up where I am today.

Anyway not so long ago I was having a barbecue at my place with my friends and neighbors when inevitably the conversation honed in on the dire situation of the economy of today. Both of us had friends and family who had suffered setbacks since the 2008 collpase of the economy.

Frank conceded that thankfully so far he and his family had scraped through faily unscathed but with somebody being fired every other day at his workplace, he could not be sure for how much longer his job was safe. Plain truth of the matter was that people were losing their jobs everyday!

Talk about a look of utter disbelief. Without further ado I revealed to him that 3 years ago I was in such a bad place that I was literally in a spot where it was make money online or disappear.

A Short Gasp From Living On The Street!

A few years ago I worked 15 hours every single day just to make ends meet. Wackiest aspect of constantly working was that when it was time to sleep I had to down sleeping pills to tranquilize myself to sleep. Crazy huh! Compounding an already messed up situation I then had to down coffee after coffee ot keep my eyes barely open.

Sure...anyone in my sitaution would have worried about the health consequences of leading the lifestyle I was living but then again what could I do. There was no way I was going to jeopardize my family's existence.

Oh! Life was bad...real bad for me everywhere. I guess it would have been okay if we could have kept the nasty problems of life at bay outside the front door but unfortunately we couldn't. There was no denying it my marriage was marooned on the rocks! It seemed like the only thing that my wife and I did back then was constantly bicker about money!

Speeding My Way To The Cemetery!

I just couldn't believe it...this was a mistake, there had to be another explanation.

I was in good shape... Perhaps if I smoked, drank heavily, was overweight or had a family history of hypertension then and only then would I reluctatnt concede that I was suffering from hypertension. But I suffered from none of those hallmarks! I drank rarely and there was no history of the disease in my family. It was impossible! How could I have hypertension? I was barely 30 years old!

For along time I was angry at the doctor who had diagnosed me. That's right after a battery of tests I now accepetd that I had hypertension but I still felt cheated. I didn't lead the polluted lifestyle like binge drinking and smoking that commonly ended in hypertension.
When all is said and done it was worry that was my undoing. The constant stress and fretting...sure it may have been invisible but like it as not its damage was very real and very visible. It occurred to me that if I wanted to see my kids grow up then I'd have to change the way I was liviing.

Backed Up Against A Hard Spot My Only Option Was To Make Money Online!

I realized I had to make drastic changes to my life fast otherwise sooner than later I wouldn't even have one. My health was on the blink and my marriage wasn't doing any better either!

My situation Was So Bad I Had To Make Money Online!

It has been a while now since I have had to worry about such things as paying the rent, paying bills and if, where and when my next pay check is going to come from.

In fact these days I pretty much do as I please! Most people I guess cannot stand their mornings but I gotta be honest with you nowadays I simply love mine. But that was not always the case because back then I had to get up at an ungodly hour.

Oh did I mention that my office is just down the hall. It's my study!

However let me start this story properly and not back to front. So let's go back to the beginning (well actually somewhere in the middle) so you can see how I ended up where I am today.

So my good friend Frank was over at my place for a small gathering when unsurprisingly we started discussing the woeful state of the economy.

Both of us knew people who had been devastated by the downturn of the economy and not matter what the national polls and popular news accounts said about a rebound we both agreed that this may have been so for those fat-cats on Wall Street who caused this mess in the first place, but certainly not for the average hardworking individual.

Bill remarked that so far he had survived the worst of it and was pretty sure that his job was secure for now, but he couldn't help wondering how long that would last if things got any worse. People were losing their jobs left, right and center from every sector of the economy!

A minute or two of silence elapsed then Frank remarked how was it that I seemed little affected by the downturn of the economy. I guiltily admitted to him that was because the collapse of the economy hadn't affected me. Truth be told I confessed, business had never been better! You should have seen the look on his face. Without further ado I revealed to him that 3 years ago I was in such a bad place that I was literally in a spot where it was make money online or disappear.

Living Paycheck To Paycheck!

I was pretty sure I wasn't doing my health any favors but that was the price I had to pay living in the paycheck-to-paycheck universe.

Oh! Despite everything I did though live wasn't getting any better at home. The wife and I we constantly squabbled about money or more accurately how to make money; at least enough of it. It seemed like the only thing that my wife and I did back then was constantly bicker about money!

Highway To The Grave!

I led that unhealthy lifestyle far longer than I care to recall and the scariest thing is that I could still be in that hole if I hadn't gotten diagnosed with severe hypertension!

I was shocked! You must be mistaken I said to the doctor.

I didn't have headaches, I never felt dizzy or light headed in fact other than feeling tired I felt 100%... I drank only occasionally...was never a smoker and because of my jobs did more than plenty enough exercise.
Topping that I was just 30 years old! I drank rarely and there was no history of the disease in my family. It was impossible! How could I have hypertension? I was barely 30 years old!

Eventually it was determined that stress was the cause of my hypertension.

I simply couldn't continue the way I had been living...that is if I wished to continue living. I had to get rid of the stress and the only way I could do that was to make more money without digging my own grave at the same time.

And that's when I realized I couldn't continue living the way I was. In fact it was at that point it dawned on me that what I had been doing was--Existing Not Living!

Which brings me to a question I have been dying to ask you because the fact that you are reading this lends me to believe your situation is not unlike mine once was. The innate danger with the irrational belief that the Iraq War was about democracy, fighting terrorism and preservation of the American way of life is that it emboldens Bush and his neocons to even greater outrages ((or at any rate it did...my how times have changed) !

Already Russia has began oiling and smoothing out its war machine and you can bet that china and India are doing the same (nuclear readiness).

It is difficult to forget how General Musharraf of Pakistan was told in no uncertain terms (by Dick Cheney if memory serves me right) that unless he did as the U.S. demanded his COUNTRY WOULD BE BOMBED BACK INTO THE STONE AGE!

Certainly none of the other nuclear powers want to find themselves having to kowtow to such threats...and they probably will never have to because they have much bigger nuclear arsenals than Pakistan...even so no harm in stocking up eh; who's to say whom the US will target next? (Better prepared than not!)

President Putin of Russia has already likened recent US activity to that of Hitler's Nazi Germany (as have many other politicians around the world) and indeed the parallels are glaring!

Bottom Line: The Us is the biggest arms producer in the world as well as the biggest arms dealer...they need to manufacture wars to make a profit from those weapons! Think about it for a second...since World War II which country has been involved in the most wars?

YOU WANNA SELL A WAR? DO IT EMOTIONALLY...SELL IT UNDER THE FLAG OF FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY!

War is a business (very big business) and like any other business you gotta sell it emotionally not rationally (now you can see the value of 911...remember those early years following the 911 attack (2001-2004) anybody who voiced doubts about the Iraq War was shouted down as a traitor...an environment not unlike that which existed in Nazi Germany)

They say that IGNORANCE IS BLISS but with such high stakes involved Americans can no longer afford the luxury of being ignorant about history or the very dangerous foreign policy America is currently pursuing.

As things stand the United States invasion of Iraq has devastated that country and you can bet Iraq is going to be plunged into widespread ethnic genocide and chaos for decades to come (the Rwanda genocide was as a result of the colonial Belgian rulers playing one tribe off of the other...a policy that the US military has recently adopted in Iraq, pitting Sunnis against Shiites. The folly of this approach may surface years later in a ethnic war that would make the genocide happening now seem insignificant in comparison.)

The Iraq War was never about terrorism or democracy it was about OIL...period! The following link amply illustrates just how difficult it is to quench the United State's thirst for oil: OOOOH MAMA I AM JUST SOOO THIRSTY

And the only reason why Bush and his cronies insist on maintaining a military presence in Iraq is because their gamble (to sequester the 2nd biggest oil reserves in the world as the United States' backyard oil pump) has gone badly awry...

...and their fear now is that if the US pulls out of Iraq chaos will engulf the Middle East which is tantamount to waving "BYE BYE CHEAP OIL FROM SAUDI ARABIA AND THE REST OF THE Middle EAST!" (Forget the Iraqis! Bush and cronies never gave a damn about them...it was merely convenient to pretend to!)

Anyway now Bush is trying to push his Europe Missile Shield Project (for what purpose one wonders...but you can bet certainly not for good) which has agitated the Russians to the extreme!

As things stand, almost 90% of Europeans view the US as the most dangerous nation in the world and in conjunction with world terrorism, view the US as the biggest threat to world peace!

The US currently has few if any Friends left in the world (even its staunchest of allies, Britain, has distanced itself and has resigned itself from The Iraq War debacle) so it really would be foolhardy for the Bush Administration to pursue anymore unprovoked offensives in the name of democracy...NOBODY IN THE WORLD BUYS THAT LINE ANYMORE!

During WW II it was The Russian Bear (and the Russian Winter) more than anything else that defeated Adolf Hitler and I think it would be a very big mistake for the United States to underestimate Russia in the manner that Nazi Germany did (besides Russia has had several years since 911 to get its military battle ready while the US military has contrastingly weakened as a result of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan...why else do you think that Putin has been clamping down in Russia. He obviously can see the ghosts of Nazi Germany unfurling.

Russia has another big advantage, it has plenty of oil...in fact is has so much oil they actually export the stuff to Europe.

Unthinkable as it is to contemplate WW III (because of its very nature...nuclear), Bush II's foreign policy could lead the world down that path. The US though would find that uncharacteristically it is viewed as the evil doer, with few friends but many powerful nuclear-armed foes! Such a war would find the US on the losing end of the stick.

RELEVANT QUOTE: "Those Who Do Not Remember The Mistakes Of The Past Are Doomed To Repeat Them!"

On a final note you might find the following books useful:

Global Warming--Is The Bush II Administration Guilty Of Genocide-By-Proxy With Respect To Their Stand On Global Warming?

Global Warming

The legendary Indian spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948) once said: "The earth has enough for the needs of all but not the greed of a few." His words have since proved to be quite prophetic!

The world today is in chaos and by that I'm not merely referring to the tumult taking place in the Middle East; what I'm talking about is the imminent extinction of hundreds of millions of people as a result of global warming. In both scenarios the United States plays a central role!

I have already pretty much detailed out how and why global warming is happening and which nations are most responsible for its acceleration, as well as who's doing what and who is not to rectify the situation in my article entitled: Global Warming--How It Could Spark World War III.

That said, I've included a list of figures below to illustrate to what extent each nation/region is responsible for greenhouse gas pollution in the atmosphere (greenhouse gases are widely held to be the engine behind the accelerated global warming seen today):

USA: 30.3%

Europe: 27.7%

Russia: 13.7%

South East Asia: 12.2%

South/Central America: 3.8%

Japan: 3.7%

Middle East: 2.6%

Africa: 2.5%

Australia: 1.1%

The Truth Behind The Lie

To many in marketing circles the concept of manipulation of social evidence is nothing new. Basically what it entails is manipulating tools of evidence to further one's goals.

Thus for example, until fairly recently in internet marketing circles, the practice of manufacturing bogus testimonials was fairly widespread. The objective being to convince visitors to one's website to purchase products on the strength of those manufactured testimonials.

In the arena of global warming much the same has been happening. In the same manner that a defense counsel in a court case will produce its own expert witness to discredit that of the prosecution (or vice versa) so has the Bush II administration paraded a string of bogus experts to decry global warming as just a myth!

In 2007 a good number of environmental scientists and climatologists publicly stated that they'd been pressurized by various Bush II factions to manipulate data to downplay the seriousness of global warming!

Which simply begs the question: why is the Bush II administration going to such lengths to hide the truth about global warming?

Snatch 'n' Grab Operation Gone Awry

It is now widely accepted that the invasion of Iraq had little to do with terrorism, less to do with democracy but everything to do with oil! The question still remains however, why did the US go to such lengths (which included manufacturing evidence) to illegally invade a sovereign state under what at best can be described as a thinly disguised pretext for war?

Was it merely a question of the then single remaining superpower claiming its right to wield that might as it saw fit irrespective of international law, just as Nazi Germany once did?

Or was it a case of a few vain men hoping to claim their slice of immortality through a legacy festooned with the glory of having secured new oil reserves for a nation with a quenchless thirst for the stuff?

Or perhaps the U.S. oil reserves were so desperately low that Bush II and his New World Order buddies were prepared to force a snatch and grab operation that could easily have escalated into third world war, so as to shore up those dwindled oil reserves?

Or maybe, just maybe, the U.S. desperately needed to stockpile a vast amount of oil for something far, far more sinister.

To keep at bay a monster it helped so much to create!

Threads Weaving A Disturbing Tapestry Of Events

These days more often than not fact is stranger than fiction. When we look at the Bush II Administration's policy on global warming it is beyond perplexing why they have gone to such lengths to deny its existence.

For sure, his Have-More buddies in oil and other environmental-damaging industries have plenty to gain by muddying the waters, but what if there's really more to this repudiation of global warming than that!

What if this is a carefully concocted plot that has been kept under wraps for years?

Here's what we know thus far about global warming. The data has been around for well over a decade and has been readily available to government officials. Since the turn of the 21st century scientists across the globe have been warning of the extent of global warming; warnings that apparently fell on deaf ears! (Well at least as far as the Bush II administration was concerned.)

But supposing this was not actually the case.

What if the Bush II administration did listen, but only to those scientists who'd concluded that the world had reached the point of no return? And that global warming could not be reversed anytime in the foreseeable future and thus by proxy neither could its ensuing effects!

Fuelling Up For A Global Catastrophe

In other words there was no point implementing measures to curb greenhouse gas emissions (thereby slowing down global warming) and that in fact the best policy was to forge powerfully ahead and ensure that America was readied for the ensuing catastrophe no matter the cost!

If it meant manufacturing a war, so be it! If it meant causing the deaths of hundreds of millions of people to achieve that aim, so be it! After all this wouldn't be the first time in history that the few had been sacrificed for the many! Oh! Except in this case it is the many sacrificing for the few, or more specifically, The Have-Mores!

When looked at from this perspective, that the U.S. is fuelling up for a long term global catastrophe, it all begins to make some sense! Especially considering that Saudi Arabia still has the greatest oil reserves in the world and has never said no to U.S. oil demands!

Bottom line, it is quite conceivable that the U.S. under Bush II has been insuring against (or at least trying to) a global catastrophe predominantly of its own making! But alas even the best laid plans go badly awry. Iraq didn't turn out to be the pushover they'd expected and the oil is not gushing the way they had envisioned.

Think that such a scenario is way over the top? Think again! Remember Iraq? Remember Hurricane Katrina?

The way the Bush II government handled Katrina was so shameful that Google for some reason best known to it was compelled to replace post-Hurricane Katrina satellite imagery with pre-hurricane images on its map portal (Damage control? Trying to hide America's shame from the rest of the world? At whose behest one wonders?).

As you can well imagine, when it came to light, the whole sordid affair was an extreme embarrassment to Google (And certainly not good for business! The search engine business thrives on the premise that results are accurate and impartial and not manipulated!).

But the point I wish to emphasize here is that if the Bush II government could shun its very own citizens (albeit mainly citizens of color) in such a cavalier fashion why would they give a damn if their actions resulted in the deaths of hundreds of millions of Africans or peoples from other parts of the globe who are going to be worst hit by global warming?

In World War II the Nazi's genocide weapon-of-choice was hydrogen cyanide gas, what irony that in the upcoming global warming related genocide, gas too is the weapon of choice; carbon dioxide gas!

Stop Global Warming

Paris Hilton: Off With Her Head!

Paris Hilton: Princess of Vegas

Paris Hilton once quipped that she embodies the very essence of American Royalty, as she flung her arms in the air and did a little twirl for the enchanted crowd (okay, admittedly the arm flinging and twirling bit are an embellishment of mine but very believable, no? The rest though is based on true fact).

So there we have it.

Britain had "The People's Princess" (the late Princess Diana) who it cannot be denied at least had class (though I'm not sure The House of Windsor would necessarily agree) and The United States has "The American Princess" (Paris Hilton I, self-styled Princess of America) who most will agree, what she lacks in good taste and class she more than overcompensates for with questionable choices and an overabundance of crass.

Her Royal Hilton: Princess Paris I of Vegas

There is little doubt that Paris Hilton strongly believes in her royal status, so much so, that she felt justified and strongly compelled to petition Gov. Schwarzenegger of California for a gubernatorial pardon concerning her 45-day sentence for flagrantly disregarding the law in yet another driving violation.

Added proof of her blueblood status is the fact she has lackeys to read her mail, pen her books, ink her songs and pretty much do most of the moderate-to-heavy thinking for her.

About the only thing that Paris Hilton seems to genuinely do on her own, is have well-documented sex with a growing cast of characters! But Hey! What d'you expect? All she has to do IS JUST BE! She's The American Princess Royal dammit!

Be that as it may, at least one State however has stepped up to the plate to rightfully acknowledge HRH Princess Paris' true blueblood status. In 2006 the Mayor of Las Vegas declared August 29, 2006 , Paris Hilton Day!

As regards her date with Uncle Sam, with true royal aplomb she placed the blame of her impending incarceration squarely on the shoulders of one of her trusted and close royal advisers, one Elliot Mintz (her longtime suffering publicist) whom in another age she'd have probably had his head lopped off for dereliction of duty!

As it is, Mr. Mintz retained his head but got fired.

Luckily for Mr. Mintz we happen to live (for now at least) in an age of temperance and forgiveness, which would perhaps explain why not only has he still got his head, he has since been reinstated by the temperamental princess herself.

Actually, forgiveness probably plays little part in Elliot Mintz's reinstatement!

The more plausible explanation is probably that no one else quite possesses the somewhat unique characteristics of immeasurable patience and perseverance Mr. Mintz does; characteristics that are an absolute must for such a demanding position!

Added to that fact is the strong likelihood that there're few qualified candidates who relish the idea of slaving for Princess Paris!

As for Mr. Mintz he is either the quintessential masochist for public humiliation, or he is getting a very fat juicy check (so we hope) to make up for all the ugliness and meanness he has to put up with at Court Royale de la Paris I.

With respect to Paris Hilton's petition to Gov. Schwarzenegger seeking a royal exemption regarding her jail sentence; well let's just say things haven't gone the way Princess Paris envisaged. Despite the "not unreasonable assertion" that she only gets pulled over by cops because they want to flirt, date her and get her phone number (hmmm delusions of grandeur?) the petition has largely fallen on deaf ears.

And as for those horny cops; shame on them! Of course we believe Poor Princess Paris, despite the plethora of well-documented online video footage showing the drink-n-drive royal speeding away on many an occasion from many a night club in the wee hours of the morning after what we can only presume to have been a satisfying night of excess!

Quite predictably (to everyone but Paris Hilton and her minions) Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger kept his distance from the whole affair and had his PR team handle the flak. They issued the obligatory number of generic statements that conveyed little substance where none was to be found in the first place.

In all likelihood the extent of the governor's review of the petition (if indeed at all) involved being reminded by his staff of the it-just-won't-go-away Paris Hilton issue, to which the governor probably shook his head in mild annoyance, pursed his lips in growing irritation as he leafed through the first few pages of childish scrawl and illiterate scribblings, then promptly tossed the offending batch of papers into the nearest waste paper basket; all the while wondering how someone so vapid could warrant so much attention!

Off With Her Head!

It would seem that it has finally dawned on Paris Hilton that she is not so well loved by the public at large. Indeed, other than her court of sycophants and posse of brown-nosers, most of us commoners are guilty of the crime of harboring barely concealed glee with regards to her date with the sheriff.

Call it envy, call it sour grapes, call it whatever you wish but the fact remains, when questioned about Paris Hilton going to jail, most people are of the wholehearted position that she deserves every single deprived second spent behind bars!

I mean let's face it, she's only being incarcerated for a month or so; and she's not even going to be in general population. Besides she should focus on the upside: all that time away from drugs, booze and tobacco should do wonders for her complexion and body.

And though Paris may find it hard to appreciate the thought of incarceration, perhaps if she viewed her jailbird stint less as a time of deprivation and more as a period of detox rehab, she may find the time whiz by a lot faster: "Hey Paris, look on the bright side, your new toned, detoxed bod will be all the better for partying longer, harder and dirtier!"

But if she still cannot find comfort from the detox angle, perhaps the following account will enable Her Royal Highness Paris I to realize that things could have been far worse: A long time ago a beautiful princess was informed in a letter from her dying father, the king, "The mob is fickle my dear; one day they love you, the next they demand your head on a platter!"

Well, it sure seems like that ominous "Day of the Platter" has arrived for Paris Hilton, but she can take consolation in the fact that unlike the other princess, she gets to keep her head; if only for 45 days then it's back to business as usual!

Paris Hilton

Global Warming--How It Could Spark World War III

Global Warming
These Days global warming is a very hot topic and little wonder, seeing as the earth grows hotter with each passing year.

For a long time now the effect of man's industrialization and technological progress has quietly yet continuously eked away at the delicate balance of the planet's atmosphere and ecosystem, but within the last 30 or so years the pace of this damage has markedly accelerated!

Downplaying Global Warming

In much the same way that Big Tobacco once vehemently denied the association between cigarette smoking and lung cancer, for the longest time a number of multi-billion-dollar-a-year industries have also been questioning the existence of global warming and misleading the public about its reality.

In fact the Bush II years have been particular devastating to Environmental Protection Rights, yet staggeringly lucrative for those who would profit from the loss of such protection.

In what can best be described as an orgy-fest of self-congratulatory backslapping, many a heavyweight lobbyist for industries such as oil, coal, mining, logging, aviation and auto manufacturers have left the Bush Whitehouse grinning like the proverbial Cheshire cat because they'd gotten firm assurance that pesky environmental laws would never get in the way of business as usual!

An example of how the Bush II Administration misled the public into believing they were truly concerned about protecting the environment was the sneaky way in which they enacted laws such as The Clean Skies Act.

The Clean Skies Act introduced in February 2003 apparently appears to strengthen already existent environmental laws such as The Clean Air Act but which in reality actually weakened and undermined them.

The Clean Skies Act gave pollutant industries a lot of leeway allowing them to spew an additional 42 million more tons of pollution into the atmosphere and raised caps on greenhouse gas emissions. Soon after Bush II came to power the situation got so bad, that after decades of effective service, two of the most senior enforcement officials in the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) resigned citing an agency that was pursuing contrary goals to that of actually protecting the environment.

Former US vice president Al Gore is no stranger to these tactics. As perhaps the most widely recognizable face in the fight against global warming he has been scoffed at and ridiculed by the same individuals who would have us believe global warming is nothing more than a myth! Recently in 2007 several scientists have gone on public record citing claims of a Gestapo-like environment of intimidation to produce figures and reports that belied the true extent of global warming!

Cause Of Global Warming

The unprecedented super-accelerated rate of global warming happening today is due to the amount of greenhouse gases being spewed into the atmosphere. The most notorious greenhouse gas is carbon dioxide (CO2) because it so happens to be the biggest single contributing factor to global warming (CO2 comprises more than 75% of all greenhouse gases). So what's spewing all that CO2 in the air? Simply put--mankind and his toys! Some of the biggest greenhouse gas pollutants include automobiles; electricity production; planes; shipping and the various manufacturing industries dotted all over the globe.

Science Of Global Warming

This article is intentionally not an in-depth treatise of the process of global warming, but having said that, here's a brief explanation:

The rays from the sun are comprised of shortwave solar radiation which pass through the atmosphere and are then absorbed by the earth thereby warming it. Part of that absorbed energy is reflected back to the atmosphere as long wave infrared radiation which is mostly trapped by the greenhouse gases.

This trapped heat ensures that the earth is approximately warmer by 33 degrees Celsius than it would otherwise be. This trapped heat is actually good for us, for were it not for those greenhouse gases and other constituents in the atmosphere that trap heat, the earth would be as cold as Mars which has for all intents and purpose no atmosphere to speak of.

Over the past century the earth has gotten warmer by approximately 0.7 degrees Celsius. This may not seem like much until you consider that the difference between the average earth temperature of today and another ice age is a mere 5 degrees Celsius!

Effects Of Global Warming

Drought! Flooding! Disease! Hurricanes! Starvation! Unbearable Heat! Any of these words seem to you to be appearing much more often in the news than before?

Do you remember the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami that claimed more than 200,000 people? Remember hurricane Katrina that claimed more than 2,000 lives? These are the better documented horror stories. The less well documented global-warming related stories are often dismissively written off as ethnic conflicts in a region (Africa) where supposedly little else can be expected.

Catastrophic Environmental Effects Caused By Global Warming

1. Larsen B Ice Shelf: In 2002, a 500 billion ton chunk of ice that was 220m thick and covering a surface area of 3,250 sq km disintegrated in 35 days! What was especially alarming was that the experts expected this ice shelf to still be around for the next 100 years even after factoring in current global warming trends.

Yet more alarming still is that there're two other MUCH, MUCH BIGGER ice masses that are exhibiting the same global warming related disintegration characteristics!

These endangered ice masses are Greenland and the West Antarctic Ice Shelf which was previously thought to be stable. Since these ice masses are land based (unlike the Larsen B Ice Shelf) if either one of them goes they could raise sea levels by 20ft apiece!

If both of them disintegrate around the same time, sea levels could rise by 40ft!

Catastrophic does not adequately describe the ensuing destruction. More than 66% of the world's largest cities would be devastated if even just one of these ice masses disintegrated. Though many of the affected low-elevation costal areas are located in Asia, New York, Florida, San Francisco and The Netherlands are also on the list!

Perhaps this disturbing data may explain the belated, albeit grudging acknowledgement by the Bush II administration that global warming is not a myth after all and that it won't just affect the poorer regions of the world. As things stand, experts are predicting that with current unmodified global warming trends Greenland may collapse as soon as 2050.

2. Lake Chad: Lake Chad used to be the 6th largest lake in the world but due to global warming has shrunk to 1/20th of its former size. In fact Chad the country for which it is named after, is now more than 60 miles from the water's edge!

3. New Ice Age: The northern hemisphere of the world is located above the equator and constitutes most of the world's land mass as well as almost 90% of the world population.

Though current expert reports on global warming imply that the northern hemisphere will initially actually benefit from the temperature increase (unlike the southern hemisphere where unprecedented drought and starvation is predicted by 2020) what is little mentioned is how global warming could usher in a new Ice Age!

Some paradox, huh? Warming leading to freezing! Here's a brief simplified explanation of how that comes about:

The Gulf Stream current is one of several currents that occur in the Atlantic Ocean. The particular importance of the Gulf Stream Current and its northern extension (the North Atlantic Drift which flows towards Europe) is that their warm-water flow heats up the surrounding air which in turn ensures that the temperature of the northern hemispheres does not dip precipitously.

These two currents are saline (salt) based. If a huge mass of fresh water (such as a melting body of ice the size of Greenland) was to dilute these currents, in effect that would shut down the Gulf Stream Current!

Once the Gulf Stream Current shuts down temperatures are going to drop precariously in the United States, Europe and other nations located in the northern hemisphere. When that happens those regions will deep-freeze into another Ice Age!

Global Warming And The CO2 Wars

The following figures illustrate the CO2 emissions from the various regions around the globe:

USA: 30.3%

Europe: 27.7%

Russia: 13.7%

South East Asia: 12.2%

Japan: 3.7%

South America/Central America: 3.8%

Middle East: 2.6%

Africa: 2.5%

Australia: 1.1%

These figures amply illustrate how Western Europe and the United States are by far largely responsible for the effects of global warming we are seeing today.

Contrastingly the regions least responsible are the ones that will bear the brunt of those effects (initially at any rate, until such time that the process progresses to an ice age then the situation will reverse).

However, with the two mega economies of China and India expanding rapidly (each boasting a population in excess of 1 billion) soon their greenhouse gas emissions may surpass those of the U.S.

A series of meetings held in Washington in early 2007 had American legislators demanding that developing nations be held to the same greenhouse-gas-emission accountability as the developed nations! Not unexpectedly there were worldwide outcries and accusations of shameless hypocrisy leveled at the United States.

With the not unreasonable contention that they have the right to develop and advance in the same manner that both Europe and America have enjoyed over the past forty years these two looming economical giants are not about to be cowed by Washington.

Furthermore considering the suspicious manner with which the U.S. justified its invasion of Iraq, few these days are inclined to believe a word that Washington says.

Compounding this climate of distrust and suspicion are the many questionable prerogatives the U.S. claims. These include:

1. Not subscribing to the Kyoto Protocol (Treaty on Global Warming)

2. Seeking the right to pre-emptive strikes (Bush II)

3. Demanding to be exempted from The Geneva Convention (Bush II)

4. Not a participant of the World Court

5. Biggest contributor to global warming but doing the least to rectify the situation.

In a world where America demands exclusive rights to pre-emptive strikes, perhaps then it is not too far fetched to understand if India and China harbor a degree of paranoia that the U.S. may one day set its targets on them.

After all for a country that so conveniently and magically connected two totally unrelated events to one another as an excuse to pursue its ultimate goal (U.S. invasion of Iraq after 911), it is not unconceivable that the U.S. could one day claim that the greenhouse gas emissions from the Asian giants are threatening the very existence of its coastal cities and hence amount to an act of war!

For their part the Asian giants already suspiciously view Washington's demands concerning greenhouse gases as a thinly veiled attempt to restrict their economical development.

That said, China and India are hardly Iraq! These are two countries which both boast formidable nuclear arsenals that are quite capable of reaching the U.S. Besides if the U.S. were to take any drastic action it is unlikely that the slumbering Russian bear would continue dozing for much longer.

World wars have erupted over much less and in the heated climate of today it only takes one more little spark to set everything off!

Global Warming
